Sometimes I'm offended & stop to think,
what is happening here and there?
Why all the people throw rubbish in
the city and village everywhere?
Whenever they want, make dirty
public place without any hesitation.
Even on a road, park, market, temple,
hospital, bus or railway station.
There is full freedom to do,
so they think & behave as a public king.
We assume, it is only duty of a sweeper
to keep neat and clean any wing.
Have we rights of all freeness to throw
filth everywhere as and when we want?
There is no restriction of municipal board
or any other law for us to haunt.
Even well-educated persons don’t trouble
themselves to go near a dustbin.
Shopkeepers throw dirt of shops after
early cleaning road and heap puffin.
Toilets are full of wasted pouches which
block the flow of urinals and drains.
Do we need to develop a mentality
to notice it and must wash our brains?
Plastics bags, cups, bottles, corpses,
waste material flow in the Ganga river.
Why don’t we mention clarity in
education syllabus for new race to clear?
It is possible that diseases will spread
surely because dirt is dropped in lanes.
We don’t adapt a system easily due to
carelessness, for it isn’t in our veins.
Vagabond animals like pigs, cows, dogs
etc. are dispersing dirt everywhere.
Water flows from taps and wastes but
we do not want to stop it or dare.
Cattle die due to eating in the street
not grass but rubbish and plastic bags.
Environment has become polluted
by rotten fruits, napkins, filth & rags.
It hurts me too much that everyone is
indulging lavishly in scattering dirt.
When will we develop civic sense &
conscious mind and become alert?
We do copy other things or policies of
foreigners, but don’t think a bit of it.
For, we don’t want to take any obligation
Or are not serious about our habit.
Law is blind and powerless, so in courts,
there is no case on the dirt, we listen.
Is there no solution to this problem?
Much saying is caused to revert a person.
In India, on the belief of God, we endure,
so all is going for long time and continue.
Alas! When will God, to make strict law
and correct it, give us a proper clue?
