Promise

I had promised your grandfather

That I’ll always love his grandson

Till the end of time and today,

On his birthday, I must say,

I’ll keep my promise to pay him respect,

He is watching both of us from above,

He’ll surely understand my feelings,

And he must have forgiven me for loving you!
