Fast Food For Fast Birds

I have words
For smart birds
Like gulls and crows,
With eyes and nose
For donuts and fries.
You hear their cries
At fast food places,
Their virtual bases.
They fly around
But hit the ground
For fish and chips,
Which slip from lips.
Will their new taste
Bulge their waist?
Will they switch pubs:
Join weight watcher clubs?

Comment Mr. Ashby,

My gratitude for your appreciation - glad you enjoyed it.

Comment I have often reflected with amusement how most birds, those masters of flight, depend on their spindly legs for making a living, these days on fast food left-overs, as wittily expressed in your enjoyable poem.
