Times Have Changed

Now a few faces have changed, Those that were true to me; They never mind paining now, Once they were the causes of glee. Maybe there are nasty needs, Changing them with time; They shouldn’t play with feelings, As once they were mine. Gone are those virtuous days, When values had significance; Materialism has emerged on top, As the thing of noble sense. Now with the money and matter, Affairs are craftily arranged; And with a sinking heart, I believe that times have changed.

A nice poem. Really times have changed. However values will never end as they are deep rooted. Any thing which may emerge on top may fall down . So one should hope and wait the times to change again. Wishing the author to go ahead confidently.
