Awakened to New Life

A soothing glimpse
As You are
For the dozy eyes,
I rise up
From deep slumber
Of the mundane world.

Worn and torn in life,
I fall asleep at last
Clasped
Into Your arms
Stretched far and wide
For an eternity,
Thence...
Into Your heart,
Widespread
Eternally embossed
With true peace and bliss -
I am awakened to New Life..!

"...The philosophic and symbolic style is praiseworthy because, death , here is the starting point of spiritual journey or death is the mother of spiritual and divine incarnation. . Just as the lines describe "i rise up . . .mundane world. The deep slumber is the worldly life . When a soul leaves a body that is called death. . Than its journey to embrace or its mix up with god starts so it get eternal peace and bliss. . And the lines " i fall asleep . . . Wide spread " reminds me the lines by R. Browning "O thou soul of my soul ! I shall clasp thee again. And with God be the rest". In Hindi philosophy it is said " jal me kumbh kunbh me jal hai , bahar bheetar pani . Futa kumbh jal jalhi samaanaa yeh tath katho giyani". . . Words are less but meaning is too wide ...."--- Durga Patva, UP
