What I'd Do

What I'd do
Is hide in you:
I surely would
If I could.

I'd listen to your voice
And quietly rejoice;
I'd savor your laughter:
That's what I'm after.

I'd explore your mind:
Some gems I'd find;
I'd learn how you think
So we can be in sync.

I'd become a part
Of your loving heart:
Dance to its beat,
So rhythmic and sweet.

But my ultimate goal
Is to merge with your soul:
That would enthrall
Me most of all.
