Oh! Our reflection has gone away With you, RK Laxman, the creator, We'll miss a lot the Common Man, In the pages of the Newspaper. You had made a heroic character, In the form of the Common Man; Our representation's gone with you, We've to find it in another way again. Dear Laxman, you were the charmer Who caught the mood of the nations, The masters of the politics feared The drives caused by your creations. Adieu, RK Laxman, we'll miss you And search for your Common Man, You will always be in our memory Till your magical cartoons remain.
