Nature Gave

Watch the mystic maiden as she dances here
Below her feet, the ground seems to disappear
Her raven hair swirling in the gentle, teasing wind
All discomfort in the world, she will rescind.

Her melodious voice travels across the vacant air
Sweet music! This wanderer she surely will ensnare
The notes ride playfully on a single passing cloud
And finally she stops, standing tall and proud.

'O Wanderer,' she says in a tone gentle and sweet
'Why do you walk here, silent and discrete?
Can you not rejoice as you gaze around my terrace?
For I am the descendant of Mother Nature, her heiress.

I am the one who will replenish your rivers
It is I who will comfort any tree as it shivers
I will spread my magic to purify the earth
I will provide everything with happiness and mirth

And look, do you see how much my hard work is wasted?
A gorgeous fruit is thrown away after it has been tasted!
Nature gave you everything, but human as you are
Selfish and arrogant, if you look from afar!'

Tossing her beautiful head, the fairy departed boldly,
Disappearing in a mist, and really rather coldly.
And as I walked away, without much pursue
And realized that what she said was serious value.

Was it true?

Were humans wasting the earth with our selfish desire?
Who knows, in several years, what could transpire?
We have already ravaged much of our world in present
Will we wait until the whole world's treasures have been spent?
