The sun is like a golden coin that is
Safely hidden inside a cloudy purse.
The zip is opened;
The sun comes out.
But suddenly there's a sonorous din.
Rain: dropping, splashing, plopping.
Terrified, it quickly rolls back in.
The zip is closed;
The sun’s safe from thieves.
However, inside, it grieves.
For the sun is playing hide and seek,
And it always likes a little peek! ;-)
