One More Day

One more day
Brings sunrise of hope.
Dreams regain wings
For a sky full of scope.

One more day
Memories float in clouds.
Tears roll in rain.
Pain is covered in shroud.

One more day
A game of hide and seek...
The cloud's sneaking ray
Becomes the burning sun at its peak.

One more day,
Secretly dusk returns.
Searching for stars in sky,
Desire makes night yearn.

One more night
Will fade before sunrise.
One more day...
Hope will show the path that lies.
