The love in her heart
nestled,
with a flourish
hidden
flaring and glaring
all bright
in her dreamy eyes.
The love in his heart
puzzled
with a nourishment
huddled
with a hunger
in her devouring eyes.
In between
long lies, writhing
a silence,
so deep
of a wider distance,
a thin layer
of inhibition and shies
descends
on either side.
Their love remains
unuttered
in their wry smiles
nuzzled
to throbbing hearts;
they move on
ahead in life
with a repressed emotion
thinking of the best
to kiss their ways.
