a motherly face
with sweet, beautiful heart
well-dipped
and steeped
with universal pathos
and ethos,
her thoughts and feelings
are multi-hued;
with cultural colors
she depicts a glorious portrait
of mother Mithila
garlanding her
with vivid flowers of writings
woven with great pains.
She sheds tears and pours
her heart out
as installments of life
in “Kist Kist Jeevan”
to bring out some sparkles
of smiles and happiness
on the faces
of her loving children -
the avid and keen readers
disguised as Maithils across the country and beyond.
