A grand festival to welcome the spring... the full moon, cool breeze, rolling hills and valleys, clear waters in rivers, plants full of flowers appear as if life begins anew. Yes, the music is new, the chirrups are sweeter, too.

Happy Holi, the winds of Phalgun too playing Holi, not only the children, the season being as such, the herald of spring coinciding with the advent of summer. A change in season, time and situation oing the rounds. The flowers and new buds of leaves, all saying happy Holi! Foreigners aghast, appalled to see one hurling dust and ashes, flinging into the mud, pouring coloured waters on each other, smearing with coloured powder just to say, Holi hain.
