Immersed in images and thoughts,
Poetry pouring
In feverish spurts.
Transcending my surroundings.
Enclosed in a world of inspiration
Fulfillment and excitement.
Barely emerging
From magic cloudiness.
I perceive a presence.
Your tall figure stands next to my desk,
Quietly, gazing at me.
Absent- minded, I look at you
Finding your sad eyes.
Shy words come from your lips
As a whisper...
"All I want, all I need in life,
Is you, only you."
Dumbstruck by emotion,
Awakening from my trance
Uncovering dormant feelings.
Tender waves of love
Inundate my senses
Falling into your open arms.
Mixing our tears
Silently holding each other tight.
