and weave a poem around it
that beauty may supplant the ugliness
of harsh words gnawing at our hearts
Give me a wise thought
and knit a philosophy around it
so wisdom may heal the paroxysms of
blatant ignorance convulsing our minds
Help me bathe tainted humanity
with tidal surges of loving kindness
that it may regain its true glory and find
its abode in love, peace and brotherhood.
