My little cactus plant
I saw you today after so long
And you looked quite bright
You had flowers
That smiled
In the sunlight
I remember the times
I tried to touch you and love you
And you sent me away with thorns
That left me with wounds
Some deep, some scratches
But all of them bleeding.
But now little cactus plant
You have bloomed.
In the love of another.
You are a pretty sight.
