Poetry as a mirror reflects
What our mouths cannot speak out -
Suppressed feelings,
Unspeakable thoughts and ideas,
Fantasized memories,
Unbearable surmounting pain,
And many more things of the heart
In a more refined way
But with a spontaneous flow
Surfacing abstract ideals artistically
Through the valley of concrete words.
Even a single word
Emotionally supercharged by a poet
Stands sufficed and supplemental
On the beautiful pictures of life
With some colourful patches
Dip-inked in heaving or grieving heart
To poetise, sublimate, enrich,
And magnify inherent sense and sensibility
Of the masses as well as of the classes
For the sake of human flourishing…
Only Poetry is the medium through which unknowable, unknown,and inarticulate matters can be expressed with known words as Poetry only can cover all subjects under one roof!
