Winter weeps
Dewdrops demystify droplets
Of its tears...
Those bodies uncovered
Numbed, shiver
While those covered in velvet
Are numbed
To the poor shivering
In utter poverty.
Summer burns their skin
Open-spread
In the scorching sun;
It smiles as a sunny day
Rains heat
On their heads
Burning their soles and souls,
A separation
Among the people peeps in
Yet it shows no empathy.
And hence
For bringing us closer
Winter keeps us warm
Huddled with sleeping bodies
Close to our heart
And weeps
Moved by their sad plight -
Those shivering though
Yet with warmth
Full of cordial relations.
