Among many lessons
That my life taught me
The most precious one
Being to learn and try
To be happy and contented
In my own solitude
Irrespective of situation...
Where I erred was
That my solitude had
A doppelganger too -
The wretched ‘loneliness’
Ever tricky and eager
To drop in camouflaged
With the cruel agenda
Of unsolicited anxiety and pain.
