O! Mother, hear from your only son,
How the respect in society, I have won.
Alas! Your young life passed on too soon,
Never knowing of my stature and boon.
Your beauty and noble personification,
Is my life’s unending inspiration.
Your kind blessing is my motivation,
For courage, aptitude and gratification.
My coffers are filled with rich jewels and money.
But, how can I return your love; that’s the irony.
When in this world, unable to give you joy and fame,
How can I show you my face in heaven, without shame?
Great poem about your mother. I too had a loving mother but she passed away in March of this year. This poem shows the love that you have for your mother. Always appreciate her. I took things for granted and now I'm paying for it. I enjoyed your well written poem.
