They so often ask me
Why I am such a loner
In my day-to-day life
And I keep telling them
That it’s still better
To be a loner in life
Than staying in the crowd
Yet feeling alone all the time
And I am sincerely grateful
To the invisible community
Of my readers and admirers
Who see substance in my work
Their encouragement inspires
Writing more of the substance
And saves me feeling lonely
In my solitude...
