As I ponder I get a feeling
About selfless acts from without
That I keep seeing in others.
Could I spot one without reciprocating?
So much rewarding is empathy
That most often pays, if not today.
But who cares, does God expect
The returns in kind but in acknowledgments
Example temples, churches, masjids, and so on.
Let me collect all such acts both ways
To build a collage for prayer books.
