Finding quizzical and cribbing
I inquired him rather cautiously:
What is so wrong this morning
Which is bothering him a lot?
He grinned and whined for a moment
Then opened up in a resenting tone:
He is disappointed and disillusioned
For they have belied his expectations.
I consoled him: look dear,
Expectations from a person or system
Are a major source of disappointment
Because we consciously or unconsciously
Deprive us from the hope or satisfaction
Of what has happened or happening now.
Instead, tend to pay attention on
What has not happened so far.
