Autumn is Saying

Autumn is saying: 

I’m on my way—  

Summer isn’t staying  

For one more day.

This fall scene 

Will be a spectacular one, 

And I truly mean 

You’ll have fun.  

With cooler days

And cooler nights,

I have my ways  

To show you sights.

I’m bringing

Fall colors with me,

And you’ll be singing—

Just wait and see.   

A few more weeks

And I’ll be with you;

I’ll kiss your cheeks   

And our bond we’ll renew.
