O mother!

The precursor of humanity,

You digested the stones thrown

And tolerated the devil's frown

And continued to teach the girls

To turn them into pearls;

Then to frighten you

They threw dung

But still you marched on to destroy their deadly tones

And revived us, the exhausted ones

And so now we fly as the birds to the sky…
