A Grandfather's Dying Wish

When you were eighteen, your dad kicked you out when you robbed a store.
You would continually get in trouble and he couldn't put up with it anymore.
You decided to punish your father because of what he did.
Now you're married and you won't let him see his grandkids.
He and his grandchildren have never even met.
You told your kids that he died and that's a lie that you don't even regret.
I have something to tell you and it sure isn't a lie.
Your father has brain cancer and he's going to die.
It's his wish to see his grandkids before he dies of cancer.
An evil grin came to your face as you gave me an answer.
You said that he'll never see your kids and you hope that he burns in Hell.
Your father tried to raise you to be a good person but sadly, he failed.
Oh no! I just received a text from the hospital, your dad just died.
He never met his own grandchildren, I hope that you're satisfied.
You are a sorry excuse for a son, you are rotten to the core.
You told me to pray for your father's soul but I'll be too busy praying for yours.
