A forlorn soul
in the solace of a still silence
that permeates her whole.
Eyes never flickering
gazing
at a distant star
in the yonder skies.
engulfed by darkness for miles and miles.
Fascinated
she wonders
what sustains it
the emptiness
the darkness
the vacuum?
Wonderingly then
almost
almost hoping for an answer
will the distances ever be bridged ?
vacuum ever be filled?
A pause in her mind........
silence that stills her soul.

walking through the scary darkness
through innumerable faces
every face even more strange.
groping in the crowded dark
she holds on to her self.
and just as the darkness blurs
emptiness stills
stretches out her hands
to feel the complexity of her tiny being...
Ah somewhere a horizon must exist!

darkness blind
finally the ephemeral would collapse
into oblivion
coalesce
into realms of the unknown.
