It was here and there

Feeling the shower

Taking the sun

Covered in the dark

Black and brown

Then…

It broke itself

To give life

Tiny tender

Sapling

Holding a promise

Of a tree

That holds a promise

Of the seed

That returns

So...

A seed never dies

As long as

A tree is never killed
