To draw, divide and discriminate with its halo
Mankind loses its true value to the core!
Wafting in the void of selfish pelf and power
Hoping to rule with missiles and merchandise;
the bugle of nationalist paeans and panegyrics
driving the world to the disastrous disharmony;
miniscule pathogen unknown hitherto born
and baptized as Corona wending its way
sending the shivers down the spine
of every nation into global lockdown;
Is it God’s test for humans to correct
For a collective endeavour to resurrect
The values with equality to strive, fight
and seek an end to this Pandemic! |
