O my Poetic Golden Bough
The flame of my divine longing
My Dream goddess my Oleander
My thirsty rhymes seek your tangible love
Sometimes the scorching sun
At times the rain droplets
A unique feeling of divine love and passion
You burn like an ever glittering pole star
And I go on feasting my ears with
Beethoven’s symphony or Mozart’s Sonata
In between shimmer and darkness
The wavy tresses and the fragrant bosom
Engage me in a Diwali luminescence
I discover moonlight in your dark, dark eyes

You are vivacious like the firmament incarnadine
Your one clarion call fetches
the monsoon yearned by the droughty desiccation
The jubilant feeling of attaining unattainable vibrancy
In Beethoven’s symphony
I get the resonance of the ecstasy
of vibrant Ganga near Hooghly
I need only one soulful nod
from you to respond |
