Between your soft eyelids
And those two eyes
My ivory Dawn and my Sunrise
Between your present and past
I discover a sea of endless thirst
Between your silence and words
I soar and sing like the birds
Between your today and tomorrow
I script my tales of joy and sorrow
(2)
One day I climbed the Himalaya peak to search for the stars
You said ‘you are the stars'
I wanted to arrange all my emotions in words
You said ‘you are all my words’
The Dark Lady of Shakespeare gave him
foamy waves of images
What an extraordinary address
you scripted for my nondescript self
I feel thrilled in between half dawn and half dusk, a twilight zone
Sonorous silence I ever love to enjoy
On the bank of the Ganga, the evening flute
resonating the golden Oleander’s depth
