Of soothing surroundings
Of an endearing home,
Thriving with heart-warming proximity,
Undue pressure grows unseen
Taking its own course,
With heaps of stooping liabilities
At one's work-station.
Followed by a melange of anxieties
The heat of life hots up
Around the furnace of the world
Burning in its chimera
Moments of joy and happiness,
Endearing words
Badly descend into silence
That leads to colorless pain and agony.
Poor feeling of loneliness
In the heartless crowd of big cities
Bears the severe brunt;
A bruised sense of alienation,
Loss and despair soars.
Cloud darkens a powerful mind.
A pall of gloom seizes a gullible soul.
And a LIFE, full of life, succumbs! |
