With shallow eyes

From whose depths

A trapped soul cries.

A torrent of black; 

An ink-like flood

Virgin maiden stained

With a demon's blood. 

A searing flame 

A blade of blue

Purges this girl's mind 

Of love and truth. 

A nest of serpents 

Poised to strike 

Turn all to stone
