The early morning mist still lingers, and has spread,
And the sun has failed to show its usual valor.
Clouds are covering the hills, sans the usual color,
But don’t fret, just watch the yonder twin peaks ahead.
In a moment will burst the sun on the verdant slopes, and its hue.
In all its glory, the sky will go from crimson to orange
Yet again golden rays will bathe this whole mountain range
Watch it chase the clouds, dissipate the mist for a clear view.
But if you missed it today, and feel empty and hollow-
I promise you, you’ll see another similar show tomorrow!
