Theme: Myself

Newton's Laws of Motion

I’m akin to Newton’s laws of motion,
Whatever I do, I do it with utter devotion.

I begin to write and keep writing non-stop,
Unless and until something hits me on the top.

I pick a book and read on, fighting the sleep in vain
Till my eyes start aching and brain feels so drained.

At last asleep, I won’t wake up, dead to any interaction,
Till struck by some kind of equal and opposite reaction.

The first case is Newton’s first law of motion,
The second one is his second law with lots of emotion.

The third case is common law of action and reaction,
Some say it’s insane but for me it’s a tough situation.

From a few friends I get genuine admiration,
While others slam it with blatant irritation.

But what to do, I’m entrapped in a crazy connotation,
I plead ‘not guilty’, I’m a victim of nature’s law of motion.

Comment No one can escape from laws of Nature! We have to respect and live in harmony with Nature to overcome the difficulties we face by climate change and disease !
