Heaven and Hell

Reaching home
after day's drudgery …

If welcomed with
hugs and smiles
sweet home is the heaven
reflecting one’s virtues
and good deeds

Instead, if nagged
and neglected -
wretched hell is the house
mirroring one’s cruelty
immorality and misdeeds

Both heaven and hell
are echoes and images
revealing the temperament
of one’s own persona

Is received back,
We needn't travel
Different realms for that.
What
we experience day in and out
Is our own creation,
Inferno or bliss abound!
