Life is a play
the world a stage
and we all actors
so affirm the seers

Yet, notwithstanding
this knowledge,
one is captivated
by her wonders

Enamored, it matters not
if the glass is raised
as a tribute to
the rains of pleasure

Or drowned agonizingly
in the floods of sorrow
Lamenting on the pain
there is surely no gain

Fascinating it may be
being lost in denial
but meaningful it is to
bravely fight the battle

In this elusive drama
one needs to awaken,
at least once, and
truly grasp the script

To be alive sanguinely
and witness the reality
in the marvelous act of
the ultimate scene
