So what if we do not meet,
Laxity creeps in when
Obsession ends
Cracked soil of summer
In monsoon has nothing, but
Mire and worms to lend.
How kiln wipes off the bed’s fragrance
Leaves illusions to chase for vagrant!
Hungers are wild plants
Raise their heads everywhere;
Like fire, they eat up the world,
And nothing they ever spare.
O dear, happily be in my heart
And keep me burning in slow fire,
If it keeps you alive forever,
Why not?
I paint a sunrise on canvas
As your thoughts can steal my eyes
And your words can bloom like stars
To shine in my sky. |
