Flying high above the sheet of clouds, Where golden glow lit the sky Uncovering vista of eternal beauty, He touched my Spirit to fly. Piercing through fog and mist, On earth below, the pouring rain. Far on left in rainbow's arc, I heard His voice so plain. On earth, thousands feet below, The living patchwork of lush green In quiet moment of my wonder, He offered a pillow to lean. Amazing vastness of Thy Creation, Makes one marvel with jubilation. O' Lord I ardently praise Thee, For all the care you take of me.
This poem was originally written by Late Rashida D. Barar, wife of Dr. Frank S.K. Barar.
