Hear the shout of my heart O’ Lord,
In the quietness of night.
As I stare at the vastness of space,
Words struggle to praise.
I hear a whisper as it vanishes,
Like a vapor into nothingness.
As I stare at the moon and all the heavenly hosts,
Oh, hear my Lord as I offer you my sincere praise.
Let morning sunrise bring refreshing hope,
And evening sunset may not fail to bring
Color to the fainting soul, and while I rest quietly, I wait.
Hear me sing, O’ Lord a song of joyous praise.
