I will never cease to offer thanks to you,
O God, My Lord, as long as I live.
Anything that comes from You is a blessing,
Hidden from human mind.
Who can attain the wisdom to foresee
The plan You have for your loved ones.
The clouds may seem to hide the face of the sun
And block the warmth of gentle rays for a while,
But the earth waits eagerly
For the shower of vapours they carry.
Every blade of grass cries for a drop of rain,
The flowers long for the playful rays of the sun,
To tease them to bloom, but the roots of some plants
Thirst for water in the clouds.
Both rain and sunshine nourish the plants and flowers,
O soul of man be thankful to Him
For the rain and sunshine,
As both nourish the human soul.
Give thanks to Him for the clouds in life,
As they strengthen the soul with spiritual power.
The warmth of His blessings brings forth the beauty
That helps life to bloom.
Give thanks to God all the time, O my soul.
