Often, he carries appraisal:
The futility of attachment
So intense and engaging
With the past relationship
Nurtured desires and dreams
That never came true in life.
But then he finds so feeble
In relinquishing or regulating
His mortal vulnerabilities…
Or perhaps it was a bond
Beyond the flesh and bone
To limit in physical boundaries.
Indeed, in this world
There are umpteen instances
Of friendship, love and camaraderie
That can’t be mundanely defined
Being so ethereal and sublime
And beyond age, space and time.
