I sit here thinking of all that's lost In the week that's passed us by Of the fear in so many hearts Of the tears we all have cried One mans heart of evil Has sealed so many fate September 11th, will go down in history As a day of torment and hate So many have lost their hope And ask where we go from here And God has answered back As He wipes away our tears As a nation, we are united Our faith in God prevails Of our trials and tribulations In His Book, this story tells But in our darkest hour He reaches out His hands To bring comfort to His people and bless us, as only He can We search to destroy this evil As Americans we always do But God knows of his evil And He will see us through So believe, if we cannot find him You can still rest in peace For no one can hide from the wrath of God Or the vengeance He shall seek
