Be it at home or foreign land
They call you and me Brother
Talk of the love and harmony
So long in minority and insecure
As soon as in sizeable number
Or majority at a time and place
They change and impose on others
Their rigid dogmatic agenda and code
Why can’t they just live in peace
And allow others to live in peace
With the true spirit of -
“Sarva Dharma Sambhav”
and “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam”
After all, this division on
Region, race and religion
Is manmade on this planet
While God is but one for all.
(Meaning of Sarva Dharma Sambhav is “All religions lead to same destination”, and Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam is “the whole world is one family”. Hindu scriptures have talked of universal brotherhood and religious harmony since time immemorial.)
