Morning

Morning
He calls up
To discuss
His work

Afternoon
He calls up
To discuss
His grocery

Evening he
Calls up
And says:
"Mummy
How are you
Doing?"

I laugh out
Loud, telling
Him that he's
Called up
Thrice today,
And now at
The end of the
Day, he wants
To know how
I'm doing !!!

He says
He wanted to
Do some chatting
While doing his
Diurnal cooking
And so we end up
Having another
Chatty evening!

 

(I wrote this, thinking of my son, who often calls me to have long chats as he's been staying away from home since August 2021 because of his work.)
