Ways of Enjoyment

The pigs appearing squalid
Unless complexioned grey or white
Enjoy wallowing
In filthy mud,

The woodpeckers seeking insects
From tree-trunks
Enjoy pecking holes
Useful to parrots or some other birds,

Political figures apt in howling
Enjoy politics of slinging mud
When voters suffer the worst
Of natural or man-made disaster,

Opposed to each other, most human beings
Unwilling to see their mirror image
Enjoy making a hell
Of this unique earth!
