You birthed them,
You brought these souls
For pleasure of your own.
You sought no expectations,
At least that's what
Your thoughts so showed.
You cared for them,
You loved them as love,
As Love only.
But a big “My” got tacked to
Every thought you owned,
Like a link in the chain of gold.
Their Pleasures, their Joys,
Their Pains became Yours.
Their Success, Their Failures
Now you owned.
Life pivoting around them,
Shackles deeper taking hold.
Oh Lord thank you.
You want nothing in return
From them.
Have No expectations
But Only O Lord!
You just want them
To be Happy,
Do good in Life,
Have whatever they want.
That will be your happiness
To behold.

What a mount of desires,
Nay hidden expectations
Cuddled in you.
And yet you hold,
Nothing you want,
Nothing you want for
Your own self so bold.
Till YOU Lord You one day
Opened your eyes in a
Very Loving trice.
Expectations,
Hidden Expectations,
My Child.
Nothing but shackles
Hidden in chains of Gold.
Let them all go.
You the True You, was
Never attached to
Anything, Ever,
Dear Child
Before you came
Swinging in these
Karmic Throws.
