Theme: India

Gift To The World

Ekla Chalo Re” the immortal lines
of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore reverberate:

“If they are afraid and cower mutely facing the wall,
O thou unlucky one
Open thy mind and speak out alone.”

In concurrence, Bapu proclaimed
“You must be the change you wish to see in the world.”

‘Bharatvarsha' became India on 15th August 1947
and the geographical map changed
A paradigm shift in the mindset of people, lifestyle,
economy and culture took shape

From an agrarian, poverty stricken country – the result
of legacies left behind by invasions and colonization for centuries,
India has emerged into a technological hub and global power
Its citizens continue to lay solid footprints
in the international scenario

Myriad of challenges brought along by the pandemic: loss
of livelihood, lives, depression and recession –
The new norm has empowered people to embrace
digital skills successfully in
an increasingly competitive technological world….

Still, a long way for Sri Aurobindo’s vison of the land
of unity, resurgence, unification and evolution
by raising human consciousness –
The spiritual gift of India to the world!
