The God in Us

Why do we stop time

and submit ourselves eternally

to somebody's thoughts?

When time has passed

and the world changes, 

why do we not move forward?

It is insulting the God in us. 

We build temples and the churches and mosques.

We mouth utterances

not internalised

are no longer understood.

Read, listen, imbibe

and move ahead in life.

Do not stop time.

Do not insult the God in you.
