Would keep you in the twinkle of my eyes
Vex your vibrant words in my smiles
Flout my feeling in all the seven skies.
Caress your memories sweet and nice

Would have worshipped your unspoilt care
Cherished your unspoken stare,
The moments of warmth, moments of share.
But surely would never hold you near.

I would turn to the golden pages
